Beautiful wildflowers will fill the fields in spring and summer, and golden grasses enhance the golden light during the sunset in fall. You can't go wrong with any of the seasons. There are multiple locations you can do along the river, and they are conveniently located not far from Portland or Vancouver. The drive is totally worth it. The beautiful images you’ll get are priceless, but your experience is as important as those images. I ensure you that both you and your kids are comfortable and relaxed. This will not be a typical photo session where you all stand stiff and smile at the camera. I want you to feel like you are hanging out with your friend during our session. Just relax and focus on the love and connection you all share in a fun and laid-back approach as I gently guide you and create a space in which you’re able to organically show the connections you share and the bond you've formed with your little one.
As a family photographer, my focus is you and your kids. I let your kids lead the session because I know happy kids make you happy. If your kid doesn't want to sit on your lap and smile at the camera, let's not do it. Instead, let's look for a bug or pick a flower. Nothing is forced or staged. I’ve had many kids become sad because they didn't want the session to end. I'm ready to have fun with you and your family!

2. ALL THE FUN PLANNING
After you book a session, you will receive my client questionnaire so I get to know you and your family a little more. It is important for me to understand your vision, family dynamic, and story you want to tell.
Then we'll talk about location and outfits! We will pick a location based on your vision, then use my style guide to help you choose outfits for your family that suit our location. I'm here to give you helpful suggestions and feedback!
It's your session day! All I ask you to do is be yourself. I will gently guide you to make you look and feel good. You will have fun during our time together. Let your kids run wild and be silly. Cuddle up with your babies on a blanket. Enjoy each other and show me all the family love!
3. YOUR FUN SESSION DAY
You will receive your gallery filled with beautifully hand edited images within 3 weeks. Then you will choose your collection and make a payment which will be easily done online. Download your images and they will be yours to keep forever. You'll see the artful record of love, belonging, and connection of your family.
You can also order prints and other products including albums, wall arts, and much more right from your online gallery. These photos need to be on the wall not in your computer or phone. I will be here to help you throughout the whole process. Ask me any questions along the way.
